MODCON 8 Cancelled for 2007

2007 MODCON VIII Cancelled

Due to unforeseen circumstances, including issues securing our normal

Modcon show venue, the NCWVSM have collectively decided to cancel ModCon

VIII for 2007. This decision was very difficult to make as we had told

many attendees and others that we planned to have the show again this

year. We never released any show dates but just wanted to inform

everyone of our decision. This is by no means a formal dissolving of

our Modcon shows and contests but more of a delay on achieving the

quality level we and others have come to expect from our shows. As many

of you know, a show takes quite a bit of work from club members and it

takes members away from what we believe is the most enjoyable aspect

of a model builders club and that is to "BUILD MODELS".

members have been working on. Thank you for your interest in our show
